1928

Talleres Micra is founded on calle Hermosilla in Madrid. Its business consists of a mecanical workshop and engine reparation.

1963

The company exits the activity of car reparations and entirely focuses on engine reparations.

1967

The company moves to a new location and changes its name to Talleres Micra.

1974

The business is converted into a corporation, Micra, S.A..

1975

Expansion through the opening of a new plant in Arganda del Rey, just outside Madrid.

1986

D. Pascual Rupérez passes away and D. Francisco Garrido becomes the only Chairman. The company starts producing and repairing hydraulic cylinders, constructing and mending of special pieces, and grinding engines.

1986

Further expansion. Micra enters into hard chrome plating and a new part of the plant is entirely dedicated to the activity.

1993

To further diversify within its field, Micra, S.A. designs its own machinery for hard chrome plating steel bars using continuous chroming technique.

1995

The company Micracro, S.A. is founded and is dedicated to selling piston rods (hard chrome plated steel rods) and cylinder tubes.

2000

Both Micra, S.A. and Micracro, S.A. receive ISO-9001:2000 Quality Management System.

2005

Due to the expansion of the hard chrome plating steel bars, the construction of a new 1,700 m2 plant begins.
