Micracró CCT™ is the next generation of hard chrome plating. The closed system ensures that there is no chemical waste nor is there water used in the processing that is not treated. Furthermore, the system consumes less electricity and no gases are emitted. These are some of the reasons why we think of our bars as “green”.

Homogeneous Chrome Layer

With the bars rotating horizontally through the system, Micracró CCT™ ensures a homogeneous chrome layer where as conventional chrome baths typically result in a thicker chrome layer toward the ends. MiChrome® bars also have excellent concentricity.

Totally sealed, non-porous surface

Our system ensures a perfect chromium layer. It is securely sealed and the system also allows for a more adhesive chromium layer than traditional plating. This is one of the most important aspects of a hard chrome plated bar as poorly sealed bars allow for corrosion. Hard chrome plated surfaces always contain micro-cracks, but Micracró CCT™ applies three layers of chromium which limits the number of cracks and therefore offers superb corrosion resistance.
